Not all maintenance work is glamorous — but it's often the messiest jobs that make the biggest difference to system performance. These photos capture our technicians carrying out a chemical wash on a set of air filters, a critical step that regular dusting or vacuuming simply can't replace.

Working in tight, low-clearance spaces within the unit housing, our team first applies a specialized cleaning agent directly onto the filter media, breaking down layers of trapped dust, grease, and biological buildup that accumulate over months of continuous operation. The pink-tinted foam visible across the filter surface is the reaction of the cleaning solution actively lifting embedded grime — a clear sign the treatment is working.

Once the chemical has had time to penetrate the buildup, a pressure washer is used to rinse the filters thoroughly, flushing out loosened contaminants and restoring the mesh to a cleaner, more breathable state. This step is essential for airflow efficiency — a clogged or coated filter forces the system to work harder, driving up energy consumption and reducing overall cooling or ventilation performance.
